CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF | Fit First Responders

CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF!

This week in the FIT FIRST RESPONDER Book – CHAPTER 16,  Coach JC inspires and motivates you to “CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF!”

JUST LIKE YOUR CHECK YOUR DUTY GEAR DAILY, SHOULD YOU ALSO CHECK YOUR ATTITUDE DAILY!

Your Attitude determines your altitude”

If you have never heard the phrase above,  there are two ways you can look at it, reflect on it, and take action.

  1. You may have missed previous opportunities because your attitude didn’t reflect your abilities to perform the task at hand.
  2. People may either look down upon your or look up to you depending on the attitude you consistently portray.

Your ATTITUDE and the energy behind it is a CHOICE! You either choose to bring light or darkness out of it. What are you choosing today?

After many years of coaching first responders, we can always tell who’s in a dark place or in a light place depending on their attitude. Emotions are real and feeling are real, BUT WE ALL HAVE THE CHOICE TO DO WHAT WE WANT WITH THEM!

CHOOSE TO SPEAK LIFE INTO SOMEONE TODAY BECAUSE YOU MAY ONLY GET 1 OPPORTUNITY.

TAKE ACTION (Action steps):

THESE ARE THE ACTIONS OF A FIT FIRST RESPONDER

  • ” I will not be moved by what I see… I choose to live by faith!”
  • “I will make a choice to live the best days of my life from here on out!”
  • “I can have what I mostly desire in my life if i choose the appropriate attitude!”

Repeat these phrases to yourself daily and see your life flourish into what you want!

THE :10 SECOND RULE

This rule shows you to practice great attitude and response. We tend to give our unwarranted opinion so frequently that many times it can or has cost us dearly.

This rule instructs to take a 10 second pause before giving your opinion or spouting thoughtless remark to preserve your reputation.
